They are the winners of the 12th European Competition of Young Electricians (CYE), which took place from 13th to 18th of April 2012 in Basel as part of the Swiss trade fair muba warmly hosted by our members of VSEI. "Phenomenal!  says Hans-Peter In-Albon, Director of the Swiss Association of Electrical Installation Company (VSEI) and adds:" In this championship, the electrical and telecommunications installation industry demonstrated that it has an excellent professional talent. The Swiss industry congratulates Stefan Wyss for this extraordinary success. "

This great competition performance stands in Europe for the excellent education and training in the industry that actively promote young professionals and which is therefore an excellent opportunity for employers and educators.

Nine nations in total competed at the 12th CYE2012. That gives six other competitors the well deserved 4th place. We would like to equally congratulate them, since they have been working until the very last end:  Chris Young (England/UK), Decio Resendes (Portugal), Harald Haugen (Norway), Javier Vera (Spain), Kevin Aubergeon (Luxemburg), Sébastien de Maere (Belgium). This format of participants follows the alphabetical order and is not indicative of any ranking in the competition.

"Divide the time properly and not go into detail is of utmost importance.  I have been training before the competition." says Stefan Wyss, acknowledged as the European champion of installers and continues: "But in this highly exciting competition atmosphere, everything was a lot harder. I'm very proud that I could insert timing in my skills perfectly. "

The Swiss Association of Electrical Installation Company (VSEI) took the responsibility to organize the European competition and the CYE arena attracted a lot of attention from the public within the vibrating muba fair. This “general public” fair was specifically chosen as competition arena by VSEI, since many young people and their  parents visit this lively creative fair. ...
